I started designing levels back in 2006 while I was still in high school. I used to make multiplayer mod maps for Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and World at War. At the time, designing levels was just a hobby that I had a passion for.
In 2010 I started working for ID Tech Camps. I taught classes to 13-17 year old students using Unreal, Hammer, and the Starcraft editor. The following year I wrote the curriculum for the UDK course. This curriculum was used at 100+ ID Tech Camp locations in the United States.
After graduating college in 2011, I entered the game industry at Treyarch as a Single Player Level Design Intern on Black Ops 2. I am very fortunate to have turned my passion into a career. I never expected to work on the game that I was so obsessed with in my youth. After my internship I accepted a full time position at Neversoft Entertainment. At Neversoft I shipped Call of Duty Ghosts, worked on 1 level of Advanced Warfare for Sledgehammer Games, and started working on early pre-production for what would become Infinite Warfare. In September 2014, Neversoft merged with Infinity Ward, the studio that created the Call of Duty franchise.
In November of 2016 I applied to Massive Entertainment in Sweden. I thought it was about time to venture out of my comfort zone both professionally and personally. I am now a Senior Level Designer working on Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2.
